Rarity Collection Box EV Calculator
Estimate this physical product's no-chase expected value with a product-, region-, language-, and printing-specific model, then compare the modeled range with your entered cost. Estimated ROI is a planning metric, not a guaranteed return.

Limitations
- The box model scales the publisher-supported pack recipe to the verified North America sealed configuration of 24 packs per booster box.
- The sealed box wrapper count is independently verified because the reviewed Konami product page documents pack contents but does not state the North America box count.
- Modeling policy approved 2026-07-23: every supported ordinary card in the same slot, rarity, treatment, and finish pool receives one equal positive selection weight. This is a transparent modeling assumption where the publisher or empirical sample gives pool odds but not card-level sheet weights.
- No-chase redraw policy approved 2026-07-23: Curio, Enchanted, alternate-art, parallel, showcase, serialized, signature, premium-rarity, promotional, and any other card or treatment without a supported pull rate are excluded. A chase hit is redrawn from the applicable supported ordinary pool, so excluded cards occupy no modeled outcome.
- Simulation ordering is draw the complete disclosed no-chase product first, record that draw, and only then apply Sift or another user filter. Sift never changes or backfills the completed modeled draw.
- This no-chase baseline excludes Quarter Century Secret Rare, Platinum Secret Rare, Prismatic Collector's Rare, and Prismatic Ultimate Rare upgrades. Konami's published per-slot upgrade rates imply 14 premium upgrade events per physical box; the model conditions those slots on their ordinary non-upgraded outcomes.

Chase Exclusions
Excluded chase families are removed from the model entirely. They are never retained as zero-EV occupied outcomes. Each affected physical position is instead filled from its disclosed supported ordinary pool before the product draw is completed.
- Alternate-art, parallel, and promotional cards
- Platinum Secret Rare upgrades
- Prismatic Collector's Rare upgrades
- Prismatic Ultimate Rare upgrades
- Quarter Century Secret Rare upgrades
Model assumptions & evidence
Simulation order: complete product contents are drawn first. Included-pool controls and optional Sift are applied only after the draw, and filtered outcomes are never replaced or backfilled.

All modeled slots are resolved before pool toggles or Sift score the opened product. This ordering prevents replacement draws from inflating EV.
Release-specific model analysis
What drives 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection Booster Box
Product profile. This box resolves 120 card positions across 237 named outcomes. The model snapshot dated August 30, 2026 contains 79 Secret Rare, 79 Super Rare, 79 Ultra Rare. Its largest slot groups are 79 secret rare, 79 super rare, 79 ultra rare. Every listed outcome contributes to the published baseline unless the visitor applies a post-draw filter.
Largest modeled weights. Alpha the Master of Beasts #RA01-EN022 (0.608 expected per box), Alpha the Master of Beasts UR #RA01-EN022 (0.608 expected per box), Ancient Fairy Dragon #RA01-EN030 (0.608 expected per box), Ancient Fairy Dragon UR #RA01-EN030 (0.608 expected per box), Artemis the Magistus Moon Maiden #RA01-EN049 (0.608 expected per box). These are frequency leaders in the product model, not a promise that any individual opening will contain them.
Release-specific card examples. Alpha the Master of Beasts Secret Rare #RA01-EN022, Artemis the Magistus Moon Maiden UR #RA01-EN049, Artifact Lancea #RA01-EN006, Lava Golem #RA01-EN001, Lava Golem Secret Rare #RA01-EN001, Lava Golem UR #RA01-EN001, Lonefire Blossom #RA01-EN002, Lonefire Blossom Secret Rare #RA01-EN002. Seeing the named pool makes it possible to compare this release with adjacent sets instead of treating every sealed product as the same generic pack calculation.
Current value concentration. At the TCGplayer Low snapshot dated July 23, 2026, 237 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Forbidden Droplet Secret Rare #RA01-EN064 ($2.21), Effect Veiler Secret Rare #RA01-EN003 ($1.83), Forbidden Droplet UR #RA01-EN064 ($1.82), Forbidden Droplet #RA01-EN064 ($1.67), Evenly Matched UR #RA01-EN074 ($1.22). Together those five rows account for 24.5% of the modeled gross value, so changes in those cards can move the estimate materially.
The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.

How is estimated ROI calculated? It equals modeled profit divided by the entered product cost. Modeled profit subtracts that product cost, selected seller fees, and any entered order or shipping costs from the modeled resale value. It is not a guaranteed return; pull variance, market price changes, taxes, and other unmodeled selling costs can change actual resale results.
