Yu-Gi-Oh! / Booster Display
Burst Protocol Booster Display EV Calculator
Estimate this physical product's no-chase expected value with a product-, region-, language-, and printing-specific model, then compare the modeled range with your entered cost. Estimated ROI is a planning metric, not a guaranteed return.
Model assumptions & evidence
Simulation order: complete product contents are drawn first. Included-pool controls and optional Sift are applied only after the draw, and filtered outcomes are never replaced or backfilled.

- Method
- Two complete boxes / 48 wrappers. Ruxin34 identifies Tennessee store supply at 00:19-00:30, opens two boxes at 01:53, and finishes the opening at 20:35-20:40 without a Starlight. Twelve ordinary high-rarity hits are identified below. Each wrapper has eight Commons and one foil. The remaining 36 foils are ordinary Super Rare; this complement is a first-order derivation, not a separate observed sheet distribution.

Limitations
- Empirical estimate from two US-observed English 1st Edition boxes (48 packs); not publisher odds. Small sample; independent cases were not identified.
- Observation interval, factory printing detail and printing wave were not reported and remain null. Store supply is identified as Clarksville, Tennessee; US/Canada printing parity is not established.
- 24 packs per display x 9 cards = 216 physical cards; eight Commons plus one ordinary foil per pack. Foil probabilities 3/4 Super, 1/6 Ultra, 1/12 Secret are marginal estimates, not box/case guarantees.
- Independent marginal pack draws; no per-box or case guarantees or correlations are claimed.
- Equal positive 1/1 weights within each ordinary English rarity pool are explicitly reviewed modeling assumptions, not measured per-SKU pull rates or rarity-count probabilities.
- Starlight cards and branches are removed before drawing. The retained foil probabilities are normalized to one; all 216 physical cards remain modeled. No unknown chase probability is invented.
- Draw all cards first, then apply disabled pools, user filters and Sift without reroll or backfill.
- Secret chart has eight blank cells; commentary says 542 each. Ultra chart reports four 660-copy identities and ten 815-copy identities. Factory territory, original collector, opening interval and case-level data were not verified. This is a follow-up research lead, not an independently reconciled North American weighting ledger. Unequal Ultra weights may materially change this equal-within-pool estimate; do not represent the two-box sample as a 230-case sample.
- Replace or withdraw on publisher odds, a complete attributable English North American product/printing-specific ordinary SKU ledger, or credible contrary exact-variant collation evidence.

Historical Low-price review: these figures describe the printing pool and observation date used for the original review. They do not establish current price availability or completeness of a later corrected model. Current selected-source coverage is shown separately after loading.
TCGplayer Low is the default singles price for the first calculation and remains selected until changed. Resetting the price source returns to TCGplayer Low.

No-chase model
Chase Exclusions
Excluded chase families are removed from the model entirely. They are never retained as zero-EV occupied outcomes. Each affected physical position is instead filled from its disclosed supported ordinary pool before the product draw is completed.
- Starlight Rare
- Serialized cards
Basis: Starlight cards and branches are removed before drawing. The retained foil probabilities are normalized to one; all 216 physical cards remain modeled. No unknown chase probability is invented.

Release-specific model analysis
What drives Burst Protocol Booster Display
Product profile. This booster display resolves 216 card positions across 100 named outcomes. The model snapshot dated October 5, 2026 contains 50 Common, 26 Super Rare, 14 Ultra Rare, 10 Secret Rare. Its largest slot groups are 50 common, 26 super rare, 14 ultra rare, 10 secret rare. Every listed outcome contributes to the published baseline unless the visitor applies a post-draw filter.
Largest modeled weights. Archfiend Playtime #BPRO-EN073 (3.84 expected per booster display), Archfiend Strategy #BPRO-EN060 (3.84 expected per booster display), Archfiends Fervor #BPRO-EN074 (3.84 expected per booster display), Arsenal Audit #BPRO-EN078 (3.84 expected per booster display), Assault Lich #BPRO-EN009 (3.84 expected per booster display). These are frequency leaders in the product model, not a promise that any individual opening will contain them.
Release-specific card examples. Archfiend Emperor #BPRO-EN031, AssistYummy #BPRO-EN076, BES Derringer Core #BPRO-EN021, Darklord Eveningstar #BPRO-EN036, Rokket Loader #BPRO-EN001, Hollowrokket Dragon #BPRO-EN002, Rokket Detonator #BPRO-EN003, Tellusion the Magna Warrior #BPRO-EN004. Seeing the named pool makes it possible to compare this release with adjacent sets instead of treating every sealed product as the same generic pack calculation.
Reference snapshot value concentration. At the TCGplayer Low snapshot dated October 5, 2026, 100 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon #BPRO-EN041 ($11.80), Forbidden Crown #BPRO-EN067 ($9.60), Fallen of the White Dragon #BPRO-EN024 ($8.70), Elfnote Lucina #BPRO-EN010 ($4.70), Spenta the Magistus Sealer #BPRO-EN098 ($2.13). Together those five rows account for 77.2% of the modeled gross value. This dated reference does not update with the live calculator's prices or Sift settings.
The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.

booster displays: 0 · Price/booster display: $0.00 · Total cost: $0.00
How is estimated ROI calculated? It equals modeled profit divided by the entered product cost. Modeled profit subtracts that product cost, selected seller fees, and any entered order or shipping costs from the modeled resale value. It is not a guaranteed return; pull variance, market price changes, taxes, and other unmodeled selling costs can change actual resale results.
