Limitations

  • Best Evidence — English pack structure: Guilty Gear -Strive- is an English Edition Original. The English publisher's 2021 nine-card specification supplies 4 Common, 2 Uncommon, 1 Rare, 1 Climax, and 1 additional card of any rarity per pack; no Japanese GGST recipe is claimed.
  • The ninth-card rarity mix, Climax Common/Climax Rare split, card sheet weights, replacement details, and box/case correlations are not published. The retained additional-card pool uses equal card-number weights across 100 eligible English ordinary numbers; the Climax pool uses equal weights across its 12 ordinary numbers. These are modeling assumptions, not measured pull rates or guarantees.
  • The English snapshot contains 102 ordinary SKUs across numbers 001-100. Shocking Revelation 047a, 047b, and 047c share one number's weight. The publisher page says 104 normal types, but its listed ordinary rarity counts sum to 102; this unresolved publisher headline discrepancy is disclosed, not filled with promotional or parallel cards.
  • Each first-edition display contains 16 nine-card boosters plus one nonfoil SD PR box topper from the ten exact English 101-110 identities, for 145 modeled cards. The topper uses equal 1/10 weights because no individual selection weights are published, and contributes only to display EV. The embedded pack result contains nine cards and no prorated topper.
  • Signed, secret, OFR, RRR, SR, foil PR parallels, trial-deck cards, and separate event/store-assist promos are excluded before drawing. Each retained pool is normalized before the complete product is drawn; no chase or zero-EV occupied result remains. Sift and user filters apply only after that full draw and never reroll or backfill it.
  • Prices use exact TCGplayer Low from TCGCSV, supplemented only for missing 529076 (GGST/SX06-051 RR) by TCGTracking OpenAPI. The supplement requires a matching active English Near Mint Normal listing and fresh source timestamps; Mid, High, foreign printings and historical quotes never substitute for Low. Market remains its independently reported quote. Daily sync fails closed if the required current quote disappears.

Chase Exclusions

Excluded chase families are removed from the model entirely. They are never retained as zero-EV occupied outcomes. Each affected physical position is instead filled from its disclosed supported ordinary pool before the product draw is completed.

  • Cards outside the supported ordinary recipe
  • Unpriced or incomplete-metadata special cards

Release-specific model analysis

What drives Guilty Gear -Strive- Booster Display

Product profile. This booster display resolves 145 card positions across 112 named outcomes. The model snapshot dated October 6, 2026 contains 30 Uncommon, 28 Common, 22 Rare, 10 Double Rare, 10 Promo, 6 Climax Common. Its largest slot groups are 30 uncommon, 28 common, 22 rare, 10 double rare, 10 promo. Every listed outcome contributes to the published baseline unless the visitor applies a post-draw filter.

Largest modeled weights. Anji and Baiken Common Understanding #GGST/SX06-073 C (2.45 expected per booster display), Anji In Pursuit #GGST/SX06-071 C (2.45 expected per booster display), Axl Disaster Relief #GGST/SX06-069 C (2.45 expected per booster display), Axl Going Easy #GGST/SX06-070 C (2.45 expected per booster display), Baiken Campfire Conversation #GGST/SX06-072 C (2.45 expected per booster display). These are frequency leaders in the product model, not a promise that any individual opening will contain them.

Release-specific card examples. 0pct Possible #GGST/SX06-078 CR, Anji Charismatic Dance #GGST/SX06-064 U, Anji Fan Dancer #GGST/SX06-054 R, Baiken Avenging Swordswoman #GGST/SX06-052 RR, Chipp Calm and Collected Ninja #GGST/SX06-015 C, Clash of Immortals #GGST/SX06-023 CC, SD Anji and Chipp #GGST/SX06-102 PR, Nagoriyuki Vampire Samurai #GGST/SX06-001 RR. Seeing the named pool makes it possible to compare this release with adjacent sets instead of treating every sealed product as the same generic pack calculation.

Reference snapshot value concentration. At the TCGplayer Low snapshot dated October 6, 2026, 112 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Overdrive Calvados #GGST/SX06-048 CR ($14.92), Ramlethal Brigadier of Illyria #GGST/SX06-026 RR ($2.82), SD Testament #GGST/SX06-110 PR ($1.50), I No Time Travelling Musician #GGST/SX06-051 RR ($1.28), 0pct Possible #GGST/SX06-078 CR ($0.97). Together those five rows account for 47.4% of the modeled gross value. This dated reference does not update with the live calculator's prices or Sift settings.

The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.

Pack & Booster Display EV

Pack and per-product Low, Mid, and High expected value ranges from one recalculation. Each physical unit is simulated separately. Fractional display-rate slots are coupled as needed to keep the full pack card count and preserve expected slot weights; factory pack correlations remain an approximation.

Modeled ROI vs entered cost------

booster displays: 0 · Price/booster display: $0.00 · Total cost: $0.00

How is estimated ROI calculated? It equals modeled profit divided by the entered product cost. Modeled profit subtracts that product cost, selected seller fees, and any entered order or shipping costs from the modeled resale value. It is not a guaranteed return; pull variance, market price changes, taxes, and other unmodeled selling costs can change actual resale results.
