UNION ARENA / Booster Display
CHAINSAW MAN Booster Display EV Calculator
Estimate this physical product's no-chase expected value with a product-, region-, language-, and printing-specific model, then compare the modeled range with your entered cost. Estimated ROI is a planning metric, not a guaranteed return.
Model assumptions & evidence
Simulation order: complete product contents are drawn first. Included-pool controls and optional Sift are applied only after the draw, and filtered outcomes are never replaced or backfilled.

Limitations
- Best Evidence — Owner-approved ordinary display model: 6 Common, 4 Uncommon, 1 Rare, and 1 additional card at 70% Rare / 30% Super Rare per twelve-card pack; one equally weighted draw from five regular foil toppers per display. Explicitly approved by the repository owner October 5, 2026. These are modeling assumptions, not publisher odds, measured pull rates, a Japanese donor recipe or factory guarantees.
- Equal positive weights within each exact English rarity pool are assumed because individual print-sheet weights are unpublished. Draws are independent; no short-print weights, within-box placement, duplicate restrictions or box/case correlations are claimed.
- Unsupported premium and serialized cards and branches are removed before baseline construction. Normalize retained outcomes, fill every physical position, draw the complete 193-card display, then apply Sift and user filters without reroll or backfill. No chase probability or zero-EV occupied outcome is retained.
- Exact English North American product/card identities and positive TCGplayer Low prices are retained. Row and expected-count mass coverage must both remain complete. New inventory or credible contradictory collation requires re-review.
- AP, alternate-art/signature parallels, serialized cards and all three premium Silver Foil toppers are excluded. Only five regular foil toppers enter the display-only bonus pool. The bonus never contributes to twelve-card pack EV; the display remains 192 booster cards plus one topper.
- Bandai's Japanese pack has eight cards while the English pack has twelve. This approved English ordinary assumption handles the difference explicitly and does not copy Japanese wrapper counts or claim an empirical donor sample.

Chase Exclusions
Excluded chase families are removed from the model entirely. They are never retained as zero-EV occupied outcomes. Each affected physical position is instead filled from its disclosed supported ordinary pool before the product draw is completed.
- Alternate-art and signature parallels
- Action Point and serialized cards
- Silver Foil box toppers
- Serialized cards
Basis: Unsupported premium and serialized cards and branches are removed before baseline construction. Normalize retained outcomes, fill every physical position, draw the complete 193-card display, then apply Sift and user filters without reroll or backfill. No chase probability or zero-EV occupied outcome is retained.

All modeled slots are resolved before pool toggles or Sift score the opened product. This ordering prevents replacement draws from inflating EV.

How is estimated ROI calculated? It equals modeled profit divided by the entered product cost. Modeled profit subtracts that product cost, selected seller fees, and any entered order or shipping costs from the modeled resale value. It is not a guaranteed return; pull variance, market price changes, taxes, and other unmodeled selling costs can change actual resale results.
