Heads up on TCGplayer Direct orders under $3: when a Direct seller type is selected, the headline rate works out to roughly 11.45% (8.95% commission + 2.5% processing). However, TCGplayer charges the greater of that standard fee or 50% of the order total on Direct orders under $3. Because that alternate fee is driven by total order size rather than individual card price, it isn’t captured in the per-card fee math used by these calculators. In practice it can have a meaningful impact on margin and EV for low-priced cards that ship in small Direct orders, so treat Direct EV on bulk/low-end cards as an upper bound.
