Riftbound: Unleashed Booster Box EV Calculator

Estimate the expected value (EV) of Riftbound: Unleashed booster boxes using live TCGplayer market prices via TCGCSV. This calculator models Unleashed slot composition, rarity weighting, and separate Alt Art / Overnumbered rare-slot pools for realistic EV and variance projections.

Signature cards, Ultimate cards, tokens, runes, and Alt Rune rows are not included in this calculation. Ultimate odds are treated as inferred and intentionally excluded from EV.

Each sealed box is simulated as 24 packs with a separate foil slot plus two rare-or-better slots that can upgrade into Epic, Alt Art, or Overnumbered hits. Simulations draw full pack contents first, apply pool toggles to the drawn cards, and then apply optional Sift filtering so EV follows true opening order.

Set theme: Riftbound: Unleashed expands the main-set card pool with new champion identities, spell and battlefield support, and premium overnumbered chase variants. The calculator reads live card data from the Unleashed TCGCSV group rather than relying on a hardcoded checklist.

Value Threshold

Changing this can materially lower EV if Market/Mid are stale. “Min” is most conservative.
Example: 0.25 removes any card valued under $0.25 from EV only if the toggle is on. Sift is applied after the pack is drawn and pool toggles are applied.
