Refund Policy
The Expected Value LLC

This Refund Policy applies to products sold directly by The Expected Value LLC ("The Expected Value", "we", "our", or "us") through theexpectedvalue.com. It does not apply to products, memberships, or orders completed through third-party retailers, marketplaces, affiliates, Patreon, or other external services.
1) How to request help
Email contact@theexpectedvalue.com with your order number and the reason for the request. If the order arrived damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially not as described, include clear photos of the product, packaging, packing slip, and shipping label when available.
2) Cancellations before shipment
If we cancel an order before shipment because of inventory error, pricing error, suspected fraud, address problems, inability to fulfill, or another issue on our side, we will refund the order in full.
If you ask to cancel an order before shipment because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, or no longer want the product, we may approve a buyer-remorse cancellation. For approved buyer-remorse cancellations, we will refund the order total minus the non-refundable payment processing fee that PayPal actually retains from the original transaction.
PayPal's processing fees can vary by payment type and PayPal's then-current rate schedule. We do not add a penalty or restocking fee to an unshipped buyer-remorse cancellation, but we do not absorb PayPal processing fees that PayPal does not return to us.
3) After shipment
Once an order has shipped, buyer-remorse cancellations are not available. Sealed trading-card products and other collectible products are condition-sensitive, and opened, altered, tampered-with, or resealed products are not eligible for buyer-remorse return approval.
If an order is incorrect, damaged in transit, incomplete, or materially not as described, contact us promptly so we can review the issue. Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, return, partial refund, full refund, or another reasonable resolution.
4) Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are issued through PayPal to the original payment method when possible. PayPal, your card issuer, or your bank controls how quickly funds appear after a refund is submitted.
Disputes, chargebacks, reversals, and PayPal buyer-protection claims may be handled under PayPal's rules, card-network rules, and applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
5) Shipping area
Direct-store checkout is currently limited to United States shipping addresses. Orders submitted with unsupported shipping destinations may be cancelled and refunded.
