XY - Evolutions
Booster Box no-chase EV calculator

Estimate the English Evolutions Booster Box (TCGplayer 123446): 36 complete ten-game-card boosters. This independent browser sampler reads generated local card and exact printing-price snapshots. Code cards and non-game inserts remain outside retained valuation; Double Colorless Energy #90 stays eligible in both finishes; numbered Basic Energy #91–99 remains outside this valuation scenario. Snapshot dates are source observations, not a live refresh.

Chase branches are excluded: holo rares, EX/GX/V/VMAX/VSTAR, secret rares, Shiny/Radiant/Trainer Gallery, illustration, hyper, ACE SPEC, and other premium rows do not contribute to this baseline.

Calculation order: ordinary pack contents are assigned to card rows first, then disabled pools and optional Sift filtering are applied afterward. Disabled rows do not backfill into other cards.

No-chase baseline

This documented non-Basic ordinary no-chase valuation scenario retains 24 Common, 28 Uncommon and nine ordinary Rare identities, each in Normal and Reverse Holofoil. The official 108-entry main checklist independently verifies those 61 identities and both printing marks. It also lists nine numbered Common Basic Energy cards #91–99 in standard and parallel finishes; those cards remain outside the original declared Basic Energy valuation basis, rather than being claimed absent from physical packs. Their shares are normalized among eligible cards before drawing. Uncommon Double Colorless Energy #90/108 stays eligible in both finishes; Energy Retrieval #77 is a Trainer identity. The 13 Holo Rare, 12 EX, four BREAK, nine Ultra Rare and five generated #109–113 secret exclusions are retained; a complete above-108 premium master set is not claimed verified. Five Common, three Uncommon, one ordinary Rare and one ordinary Reverse per booster, uniformly allocated within eligible identities, remain explicit uncalibrated scenario assumptions, not factory probabilities. Draw all 360 modeled positions before Sift or pool filters without reroll or backfill.

Official English main checklist · First-hand named English box: 36 boosters, ten cards each. Code and non-game inserts remain outside valuation. No additional Basic Energy guarantee is asserted; the additional excluded Energy counter stays zero. Other provider-listed offers and archival finishes remain separate from modeled eligibility.

This page retains its original explicitly declared Basic Energy valuation exclusion, including numbered Evolutions Basic Energy #91–99. These printings physically exist in standard and parallel finishes; their omission is a counterfactual valuation boundary, not a missing-printing or extra-Energy-slot claim. Double Colorless Energy #90 and Trainer Energy Retrieval #77 stay eligible. Code cards, non-game inserts and standalone sealed-product inserts remain outside valuation.

Sift is a price floor. Row tinting always uses the Sift value; EV only uses it when Use Sift in EV is checked.

Release-specific model analysis

What drives XY - Evolutions Booster Box

Product profile. This booster box resolves 360 card positions across 122 named outcomes. The model snapshot dated June 10, 2026 contains 56 Uncommon, 48 Common, 18 Rare. Its largest slot groups are 61 reverse standard, 28 nf uncommon, 24 nf common, 9 rare slot rare. Every listed outcome contributes to the published baseline unless the visitor applies a post-draw filter.

Largest modeled weights. Caterpie #3/108 (7.50 expected per booster box), Charmander #9/108 (7.50 expected per booster box), Diglett #55/108 (7.50 expected per booster box), Doduo #69/108 (7.50 expected per booster box), Drowzee #49/108 (7.50 expected per booster box). These are frequency leaders in the product model, not a promise that any individual opening will contain them.

Release-specific card examples. Arcanine (Reverse Holofoil) #18/108, Arcanine #18/108, Blastoise Spirit Link #73/108, Electabuzz #41/108, Caterpie (Reverse Holofoil) #3/108, Metapod (Reverse Holofoil) #4/108, Metapod #4/108, Weedle (Reverse Holofoil) #5/108. Seeing the named pool makes it possible to compare this release with adjacent sets instead of treating every sealed product as the same generic pack calculation.

Reference snapshot value concentration. At the TCGplayer Market snapshot dated August 12, 2026, 122 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Mewtwo #51/108 ($10.64), Pikachu #35/108 ($7.50), Mewtwo (Reverse Holofoil) #51/108 ($7.11), Charizard Spirit Link (Reverse Holofoil) #75/108 ($4.91), Pikachu (Reverse Holofoil) #35/108 ($3.50). Together those five rows account for 29.1% of the modeled gross value. This dated reference does not update with the live calculator's prices or Sift settings.

The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.
