Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces
Sealed product EV calculator

Compare the expected value (EV) of supported Scarlet & Violet—Temporal Forces sealed products in one calculator. Choose Booster Box / Display, Elite Trainer Box — Iron Leaves ex, Elite Trainer Box — Walking Wake, or Booster Bundle; the calculator uses the selected product's pack quantity with its own browser sampler over generated card and price inputs, while retaining the set's documented pull assumptions.

Basic Energy, code cards, and sealed extras are not included in this calculation.

Calculation order: every pack's full card contents are drawn first. Disabled pools and optional Sift filtering apply only afterward and never backfill removed outcomes.

Set theme: Temporal Forces spotlights Ancient and Future Pokémon like Walking Wake ex, Gouging Fire ex, Iron Leaves ex, Iron Crown ex, Iron Boulder ex, and Raging Bolt ex while bringing ACE SPEC cards back alongside Illustration Rare, Special Illustration Rare, and Hyper Rare chase cards.

Temporal Forces pull-rate context (TCGplayer empirical estimates)

This calculator uses live pricing with a configurable Temporal Forces pack model. Published pull-rate references are listed below for context and tuned to the TCGplayer Temporal Forces pull-rate article. ACE SPEC hits are modeled as upgrades to the first reverse holo slot, while Illustration Rare, Special Illustration Rare, and Hyper Rare hits are handled as upgrades to the second reverse/premium slot.

Booster contents basis: all10 modeled game-card positions in each of the selected36,9 or6 packs are drawn before Sift and pool filters. Each pack's additional Basic Energy and code card are excluded. The standard9-pack Elite Trainer Box also excludes its Flutter Mane (Walking Wake) or Iron Thorns (Iron Leaves) promo,45 Energy cards,65 sleeves and other accessories. The Pokémon Center11-pack ETB is a distinct product and is not selected here. Missing exact-finish quotes are unavailable; foil multipliers do not substitute for them.

Source basis: TCGplayer’s Authentication Center opened more than 8,000 Temporal Forces packs; these retained per-pack point estimates use 95% confidence intervals and are not factory guarantees. Uniform within-rarity allocation remains a modeling assumption. The publisher’s 218-card checklist verifies numbered identities and rarities. Mist Energy #161 and ACE SPEC Neo Upper Energy #162 remain included; each pack’s additional unnumbered Basic Energy and code card remain excluded. Eligible positions are drawn in full before Sift or pool filters.

Sift is a price floor (USD): rows with Value ≥ Sift tint green. EV only uses Sift if you enable the toggle below, and it is applied after each pack’s cards are drawn.

Reference snapshot value concentration. At the TCGplayer Market snapshot dated August 12, 2026, 358 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Gastly (Holofoil) #177/162 ($12.38), Gengar ex (Holofoil) #193/162 ($8.17), Sawsbuck (Holofoil) #166/162 ($7.51), Metang #114/162 ($7.42), Deerling (Holofoil) #165/162 ($5.60). Together those five rows account for 20.6% of the modeled gross value. This dated reference does not update with the live calculator's prices or Sift settings.

The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.

Selling Fees

Per‑row shows combined pct + txn (txn = 2.5% processing). $0.30/order is added only in the summary.

Value Threshold

Changing this changes EV basis for TCGCSV Market, Low, or Direct Low prices.
Example: 0.25 removes any card valued under $0.25 from EV only if the toggle is on. Sift is applied after each pack is drawn.

EV Range (Monte Carlo)

Runs per summary update; higher counts smooth the bands but take longer.
Low/High = central quantiles measured from Monte Carlo pack openings.
