Team Rocket Returns
Booster Box no-chase EV calculator
Estimate the English EX Team Rocket Returns Booster Box (TCGplayer product 98579): 36 packs of 9 game cards, or 324 booster-card positions. Exact Normal and Reverse Holofoil quotes come from generated local data; Market never borrows Low or another finish. The documented ordinary no-chase scenario keeps premium, secret-numbered and box-topper content outside this booster-card EV baseline.
Chase branches are excluded: holo rares, EX/GX/V/VMAX/VSTAR, secret rares, Shiny/Radiant/Trainer Gallery, illustration, hyper, ACE SPEC, and other premium rows do not contribute to this baseline.
Calculation order: ordinary pack contents are assigned to card rows first, then disabled pools and optional Sift filtering are applied afterward. Disabled rows do not backfill into other cards.
No-chase baseline
This retained ordinary no-chase scenario excludes 14 Holo Rare, 11 Pokémon-ex, 3 Gold Star and 2 secret-numbered identities before drawing. It retains the original 5 Common, 2 Uncommon, 1 ordinary Rare and 1 ordinary reverse card per pack. Uniform allocation within 32 Common, 35 Uncommon, 14 ordinary Rare and 81 reverse identities is an assumption, not publisher-measured factory odds. Dark Metal Energy 94/109 and R Energy 95/109 are Uncommon and remain in both modeled finishes. Construct and normalize exclusions first, draw all 324 booster-card positions, then apply Sift and included-pool filters without reroll or backfill.
Guaranteed box toppers, standalone sealed-product inserts, non-game inserts, code cards, and standalone basic Energy insert slots are outside this no-chase model. Numbered Common/Uncommon Basic Energy rows remain modelable; Rare Basic Energy rows stay out of ordinary no-chase slots.

Release-specific card examples. Copycat (Reverse Holofoil) #83/109, Copycat #83/109, Dark Dragonite #15/109, Grimer #56/109, Dark Dragonite (Reverse Holofoil) #15/109, Dark Muk (Reverse Holofoil) #16/109, Dark Muk #16/109, Dark Raticate (Reverse Holofoil) #17/109. Reference snapshot value concentration. At the TCGplayer Market snapshot dated August 12, 2026, 162 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Dark Dragonite #15/109 ($234.00), Dark Dragonite (Reverse Holofoil) #15/109 ($233.33), Dark Tyranitar #19/109 ($188.69), Psyduck #70/109 ($169.26), Dark Gyarados (Reverse Holofoil) #36/109 ($134.07). Together those five rows account for 18.9% of the modeled gross value. This dated reference does not update with the live calculator's prices or Sift settings.
The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.
