Base Set (Shadowless)
Booster Box no-chase EV calculator

Estimate the English Base Set (Shadowless) Booster Box [Unlimited Edition] (TCGplayer product 107597): 36 packs of 11 cards. The separate 1st Edition price comparison is retained (TCGplayer product 107596). Generated local prices retain exact nonfoil edition tuples; Market never borrows Low or another edition.

Chase branches are excluded: holo rares, EX/GX/V/VMAX/VSTAR, secret rares, Shiny/Radiant/Trainer Gallery, illustration, hyper, ACE SPEC, and other premium rows do not contribute to this baseline.

Calculation order: ordinary pack contents are assigned to card rows first, then disabled pools and optional Sift filtering are applied afterward. Disabled rows do not backfill into other cards.

No-chase baseline

This no-chase baseline removes the original Holo/premium outcomes and normalizes the ordinary Rare position before drawing 36 packs of 11 cards. Own English First Edition and unstamped Shadowless retailer specifications identify 5 ordinary Common, 2 Basic Energy, 3 Uncommon and 1 Rare-or-foil position. Uniform individual weights within 33 ordinary Common (including both Pikachu cheek variants), 6 Basic Energy, 32 Uncommon and 16 ordinary Rare remain assumptions, not published sheet or variant frequencies.

Sources: First Edition Shadowless box and unstamped Shadowless-style box specification. The latter retailer qualifies its green-wing box identification probabilistically; this calculator assumes the explicitly selected Shadowless printing and does not model an unverified mixed-edition box or import that identification percentage as pull odds.

Both mandatory Basic Energy positions are included. Box toppers, standalone promotional inserts and non-game inserts are outside this product. Basic Energy keeps Common rarity; its physical-slot control applies after the complete 396-card draw without reroll or backfill.

Sift is a price floor. Row tinting always uses the Sift value; EV only uses it when Use Sift in EV is checked.

Release-specific model analysis

What drives Base Set (Shadowless) Booster Box

Product profile. This booster box resolves 396 card positions across 87 named outcomes. The model snapshot dated June 10, 2026 contains 39 Common, 32 Uncommon, 16 Rare. Its largest slot groups are 33 nf common, 32 nf uncommon, 16 rare slot rare, 6 basic energy. Every listed outcome contributes to the published baseline unless the visitor applies a post-draw filter.

Largest modeled weights. Fighting Energy #097/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Fire Energy #098/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Grass Energy #099/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Lightning Energy #100/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Psychic Energy #101/102 (12.0 expected per booster box). These are frequency leaders in the product model, not a promise that any individual opening will contain them.

Release-specific card examples. Abra #043/102, Arcanine #023/102, Beedrill #017/102, Water Energy #102/102, Dragonair #018/102, Dugtrio #019/102, Electabuzz #020/102, Electrode #021/102. Seeing the named pool makes it possible to compare this release with adjacent sets instead of treating every sealed product as the same generic pack calculation.

Reference snapshot value concentration. At the TCGplayer Market snapshot dated August 12, 2026, 87 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Pikachu (Red Cheeks) #058/102 ($2345.35), Bulbasaur #044/102 ($1717.25), Pikachu #058/102 ($964.25), Charmander #046/102 ($816.98), Squirtle #063/102 ($694.42). Together those five rows account for 31.2% of the modeled gross value. This dated reference does not update with the live calculator's prices or Sift settings.

The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.
