Base Set
Booster Box no-chase EV calculator

Estimate the no-chase value of the English Base Set Booster Box [Revised Unlimited Edition] (TCGplayer product 185731): 36 packs of 11 cards. The browser uses generated local card and price files; Market, Low, and Direct Low remain separate nonfoil price channels.

Chase branches are excluded: holo rares, EX/GX/V/VMAX/VSTAR, secret rares, Shiny/Radiant/Trainer Gallery, illustration, hyper, ACE SPEC, and other premium rows do not contribute to this baseline.

Calculation order: ordinary pack contents are assigned to card rows first, then disabled pools and optional Sift filtering are applied afterward. Disabled rows do not backfill into other cards.

No-chase baseline

This documented no-chase baseline removes Holo Rare outcomes before drawing and normalizes the remaining ordinary Rare position. Exact English Unlimited retailer specifications identify 5 ordinary Common, 2 Basic Energy, 3 Uncommon and 1 Rare-or-foil position per pack. Uniform individual weights within 32 ordinary Common, 6 Basic Energy, 32 Uncommon and 16 ordinary Rare printings are modeling assumptions. The complete 396-card box is drawn before Sift or pool filters; rejected cards are not rerolled or replaced.

Physical contents: English Unlimited pack specification and 36-pack Unlimited box specification. Approximate foil odds do not redefine this documented ordinary no-chase counterfactual.

Both mandatory Basic Energy positions are included in every pack. Standalone promotional inserts, box toppers, code cards and other non-game inserts are outside this product. Basic Energy remains Common in the Rarity column; its separate physical-slot filter applies after the complete box has been drawn.

Loaded pools: waiting for card data.

Sift is a price floor. Row tinting always uses the Sift value; EV only uses it when Use Sift in EV is checked.

Release-specific model analysis

What drives Base Set Booster Box

Product profile. This booster box resolves 396 card positions across 86 named outcomes. The model snapshot dated October 17, 2026 contains 38 Common, 32 Uncommon, 16 Rare. Its largest slot groups are 32 nf common, 32 nf uncommon, 16 rare slot rare, 6 basic energy. Every listed outcome contributes to the published baseline unless the visitor applies a post-draw filter.

Largest modeled weights. Fighting Energy #097/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Fire Energy #098/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Grass Energy #099/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Lightning Energy #100/102 (12.0 expected per booster box), Psychic Energy #101/102 (12.0 expected per booster box). These are frequency leaders in the product model, not a promise that any individual opening will contain them.

Release-specific card examples. Abra #043/102, Arcanine #023/102, Beedrill #017/102, Water Energy #102/102, Dragonair #018/102, Dugtrio #019/102, Electabuzz #020/102, Electrode #021/102. Seeing the named pool makes it possible to compare this release with adjacent sets instead of treating every sealed product as the same generic pack calculation.

Reference snapshot value concentration. At the TCGplayer Market snapshot dated August 12, 2026, 86 modeled outcomes have a usable direct or documented fallback price. The largest deterministic contributions come from Pikachu #058/102 ($90.06), Dragonair #018/102 ($40.05), Squirtle #063/102 ($38.19), Voltorb #067/102 ($25.71), Pidgeotto #022/102 ($25.31). Together those five rows account for 24.4% of the modeled gross value. This dated reference does not update with the live calculator's prices or Sift settings.

The baseline product model is constructed first, including any documented chase exclusions. The calculator then draws the complete baseline product. Included-pool controls and optional Sift evaluate that completed draw afterward and do not alter its collation.
