Limitations

  • collation.cardsPerPack and collation.packsPerProduct: the product uses 10 cards per pack and 20 packs per English booster box; those physical wrapper counts do not establish rarity-slot probabilities.
  • collation.caseStructure: box-level hit counts and display/case correlations are unresolved for the exact English North America printing.
  • evidence.sample: null because no reviewed observation provides a complete, attributable sample with exact unit, size, method, North America printing, and observation interval.
  • Modeling policy approved 2026-09-04: every supported ordinary card in the same slot, rarity, treatment, and finish pool receives one equal positive selection weight. This is a transparent modeling assumption where the publisher or empirical sample gives pool odds but not card-level sheet weights.
  • PRB01 assumption-based Japanese collation proxy: exact English wrapper and card-price identities are retained, informed by PRB01-specific English partial opening reports. No complete attributable English or Japanese rarity/finish ledger was established. The publisher verifies a ten-card English pack; the exact English retailer verifies twenty packs per display, totaling 200 physical cards. Checklist counts are identities, never pull rates. No other set's observations or Japanese prices are imported as PRB01 evidence.
  • The ordinary English roster has 104 game identities: 23 C, 25 UC, 20 R, 25 SR, 6 regular SEC, 4 in-pack Promotion reprints and 1 Sanji Leader. The 111 headline additionally includes seven manga-only numbers; those are not extra ordinary SR/SEC/R candidates. C/UC/Promo/Leader use Normal; R/SR/SEC use Foil. The four P-numbered cards are genuine PRB01 reprints, not external promotions. All 72 ordinary Jolly Roger Foils are retained in separate imprint positions, never priced or drawn as base Normal reprints.
  • Fifty changed base reprints/new Leader have exact PRB01 marketplace listings. Fifty-four unchanged English base reprints use an explicit product-and-group allowlist of their shared original English listings, reconciled to the publisher's exact PRB01 collector numbers and ordinary art/treatment. Distinct artist-credit reprints, alternate arts, pre-release stamps, Jolly Roger, Full Art, Textured and Japanese versions are not substitutes. Each of all 236 retained exact price SKUs requires positive TCGplayer Low; any missing ordinary price fails the entire classification rather than shrinking its pool. The shared listing's market price pools indistinguishable copies from multiple products; that marketplace limitation is disclosed.
  • Each synthetic ten-card pack contains five ordinary C/UC/Promo draws, one ordinary Rare, one SR/SEC draw, one imprint/Leader draw, one no-chase imprint draw and one DON!! draw. Assumed box marginals are 100 bulk, 20 Rare, 18 SR, 2 regular SEC, 39 Jolly Roger Foils, 1 Leader and 20 ordinary DON!! = 200. Bulk rarity/card allocation is uniform across 52 C/UC/Promo identities, not an observed C/UC split. Imprint allocation is uniform across 72 identities. The 19/20 imprint versus 1/20 Leader probability is explicitly assumed; it is not inferred from one Leader design.
  • English first-hand reports in the November 2024 discussion describe two SEC and two Foil-or-Gold DON!! per box, but report selected hits only. The detailed ten-position recipe and 18 SR statement are community claims without a complete opening ledger. Their 9/10 SR versus 1/10 SEC and 9/10 Normal versus 1/10 Foil DON!! allocations are adopted only as disclosed PRB01 assumptions, not verified rates or box guarantees. Thirty ordinary DON!! designs each retain both positive-priced Normal and Foil SKUs. The two finishes share ONE physical DON!! mass of twenty expected draws, not forty or sixty cards; finish probabilities are 90/10, not an arbitrary 50/50 mixture. Publisher ordinary versus Gold labels alone do not prove nonfoil versus foil.
  • PRB01 has no separate collector product; this premium booster baseline excludes all alternate-art, Full Art, Textured, Gold DON!! and Manga/god-pack chase outcomes before drawing. Condition the special-art slot to its retained Jolly Roger outcomes and the Gold/Foil slot to ordinary Foil DON!! before drawing, preserving all ten pack positions. Do not preserve zero-EV chase occupancy. No external purchase campaign, tournament promotion or separate topper is added. Draw all 200 cards first, then apply Sift and user filters without backfill. Independent draws preserve expected marginals, not guaranteed box counts, pack no-duplicate rules, case seeding or god-pack frequency. Embedded pack EV is box EV divided by 20; only the box is public. evidence.sample remains null: exact printing wave and observation interval are unresolved.
  • No-chase redraw policy approved 2026-09-04: Curio, Enchanted, alternate-art, parallel, showcase, serialized, signature, premium-rarity, promotional, and any other card or treatment without a supported pull rate are excluded. A chase hit is redrawn from the applicable supported ordinary pool, so excluded cards occupy no modeled outcome.
  • Simulation ordering is draw the complete disclosed no-chase product first, record that draw, and only then apply Sift or another user filter. Sift never changes or backfills the completed modeled draw.

Chase Exclusions

Excluded chase families are removed from the model entirely. They are never retained as zero-EV occupied outcomes. Each affected physical position is instead filled from its disclosed supported ordinary pool before the product draw is completed.

  • Gold DON!! cards
  • Manga and god-pack cards
  • Unsupported alternate-art, Full Art or Textured treatments

Pack & Booster Box EV

Pack and per-product Low, Mid, and High expected value ranges from one recalculation. Each physical unit is simulated separately. Fractional display-rate slots are coupled as needed to keep the full pack card count and preserve expected slot weights; factory pack correlations remain an approximation.

Modeled ROI vs entered cost------

booster boxes: 0 · Price/booster box: $0.00 · Total cost: $0.00

How is estimated ROI calculated? It equals modeled profit divided by the entered product cost. Modeled profit subtracts that product cost, selected seller fees, and any entered order or shipping costs from the modeled resale value. It is not a guaranteed return; pull variance, market price changes, taxes, and other unmodeled selling costs can change actual resale results.
