Gundam Card Game / Booster Display
Freedom Ascension Booster Display [GD05] EV Calculator
Estimate this physical product's no-chase expected value with a product-, region-, language-, and printing-specific model, then compare the modeled range with your entered cost. Estimated ROI is a planning metric, not a guaranteed return.
Simulation order: complete product contents are drawn first. Included-pool controls and optional Sift are applied only after the draw, and filtered outcomes are never replaced or backfilled.

Limitations
- Bandai publishes 12 physical cards per English-US pack and 138+10 card types, but it does not publish the complete ordinary slot probabilities, replacement mapping, or per-card weights.
- TCGCSV category 86 group 24699 contained 197 card products, 197 with a non-null TCGplayer Low field, when reviewed. The 201 price rows split into 92 Normal and 109 Holofoil rows. This establishes current row availability only; without a reviewed model it does not establish expected-mass coverage.
- Normal and Holofoil are marketplace subtype labels, not automatically frame/style Treatments. Every duplicate-number and finish row must be mapped to an exact SKU before it can enter a model.
- The no-chase baseline has no separate English collector product to use instead. Before approval, every +, ++, SP, Link Rare, premium Resource, and other chase SKU and branch must be enumerated and omitted entirely.
- GD05 has twelve cards with no +1 support slot. Its 132 exact ordinary English SKUs are 50 Common, 36 Uncommon, 32 Rare, 12 Legend Rare and T-026/T-027 tokens. No ordinary Resource or reused basic EX printing is imported. All 65 parallel/SP printings, including Link Rares and eight SP EX Resources, are removed before drawing.
- Eight photographed SC01-sourced English packs and one self-reported twelve-box case support explicit small-sample marginal assumptions, not population rates or factory guarantees. Inferred ordinary Rare/token totals, low-position substitution and equal within-pool weights remain assumptions; checklist totals are identity evidence only.
- Modeling policy approved 2026-09-03: every supported ordinary card in the same slot, rarity, treatment, and finish pool receives one equal positive selection weight. This is a transparent modeling assumption where the publisher or empirical sample gives pool odds but not card-level sheet weights.
- Best Evidence — Japanese collation proxy: exact English wrapper and card-price identities are combined with an owner-approved Japanese-product collation proxy because a complete English rate ledger is not published. This is an estimate, not a factory guarantee.
- Only booster-pack slot counts and rarity probabilities are proxied. Card identities, treatments, TCGplayer Low prices, sealed-product identity, language, region, release date, and any explicitly modeled fixed bonus come from the exact English release.
- The proxy is first-order and product-family-specific. No display or case correlation is inherited, and no target is used as a donor for another target.
- Within each retained English rarity/treatment pool, exact positively priced card SKUs use equal positive weight where publisher sheet weights are unavailable.
- Per pack estimate: 5 Common, 4 Uncommon, one Common-or-Uncommon draw weighted 7/8 and 1/8, and two Rare/LR/Token draws weighted 383/502, 96/502 and 23/502 after premium removal. The 24-pack display has 288 physical cards, with no +1 support slot.
- Replace this proxy when a complete, attributable English collation ledger or publisher rate table becomes available for the exact release.
- GD05-specific English opening evidence supplements the program's Japanese proxy label. Bandai's product page and photographed English wrapper specify twelve cards, not twelve plus one. Two ordinary tokens T-026/T-027 can occupy high positions; no ordinary Resource, basic EX Base or basic EX Resource is added. All eight SP EX Resources are chase-excluded. Publisher checklist totals establish identities, not pull rates.
- Eight photographed English packs from two SC01 Deck Build Boxes contain 47 Common and 33 Uncommon cards: seven packs have 6 C/4 U, while the token pack has 5 C/5 U. The 7/8 C and 1/8 U mixed low-position marginal is a small-sample adaptation assumption, not a measured display guarantee. Independent sampling does not preserve its token/low-rarity pairing or SC01-specific collation.
- One first-person twelve-box case ledger reports 96 ordinary LR, 73 premium game cards as individually listed (box five lists five, not six), and one separate SP EX in place of a token. Assuming its stated two-token positions per box gives 23 ordinary tokens; 383 ordinary Rares are inferred from the remaining 576 high positions. Removing all 74 premiums before drawing leaves 502 outcomes, normalized to 383/502 Rare, 96/502 LR and 23/502 Token. The inferred Rare/token counts, independent interchangeable high positions and case-to-product adaptation are explicit assumptions, not factory guarantees or population pull rates.
- All 132 exact ordinary English SKUs must retain positive matching TCGplayer Low prices: 50 Common, 36 Uncommon, 32 Rare, 12 Legend Rare and two tokens. Quatre Raberba Winner GD05-100 is an ordinary Uncommon, and Gundam AGE-2 Normal (SP Ver.) GD05-024 is an ordinary Common. Exact product/number/finish membership excludes all 65 parallel/SP printings, including Link Rares, before drawing; equal per-card weights within each pool are assumptions.
- Retained slot probabilities are normalized before drawing the complete 288-card display. Sift and user filters run only after the full draw and never backfill. No topper, starter card, SC01 fixed card, purchase promo or separate bonus enters this display. Embedded pack EV is box EV divided by 24. No no-duplicate rule, box seeding, pack sequence or case covariance is modeled; simulated bands are not factory-collation confidence intervals.
- No-chase redraw policy approved 2026-09-03: Curio, Enchanted, alternate-art, parallel, showcase, serialized, signature, premium-rarity, promotional, and any other card or treatment without a supported pull rate are excluded. A chase hit is redrawn from the applicable supported ordinary pool, so excluded cards occupy no modeled outcome.
- Simulation ordering is draw the complete disclosed no-chase product first, record that draw, and only then apply Sift or another user filter. Sift never changes or backfills the completed modeled draw.

Excluded chase families are removed from the model entirely. They are never retained as zero-EV occupied outcomes. Each affected physical position is instead filled from its disclosed supported ordinary pool before the product draw is completed.

How is estimated ROI calculated? It equals modeled profit divided by the entered product cost. Modeled profit subtracts that product cost, selected seller fees, and any entered order or shipping costs from the modeled resale value. It is not a guaranteed return; pull variance, market price changes, taxes, and other unmodeled selling costs can change actual resale results.
