Gundam Card Game / Booster Display
Dual Impact Booster Display [GD02] EV Calculator
Estimate this physical product's no-chase expected value with a product-, region-, language-, and printing-specific model, then compare the modeled range with your entered cost. Estimated ROI is a planning metric, not a guaranteed return.
Model assumptions & evidence
Simulation order: complete product contents are drawn first. Included-pool controls and optional Sift are applied only after the draw, and filtered outcomes are never replaced or backfilled.

Limitations
- Bandai publishes 13 physical cards per English-US pack and 130+13 card types, but it does not publish the complete ordinary slot probabilities, replacement mapping, or per-card weights.
- TCGCSV category 86 group 24408 contained 187 card products, 187 with a non-null TCGplayer Low field, when reviewed. The 191 price rows split into 101 Normal and 90 Holofoil rows. This establishes current row availability only; without a reviewed model it does not establish expected-mass coverage.
- Normal and Holofoil are marketplace subtype labels, not automatically frame/style Treatments. Every duplicate-number and finish row must be mapped to an exact SKU before it can enter a model.
- The no-chase baseline has no separate English collector product to use instead. Before approval, every +, ++, SP, Link Rare, premium Resource, and other chase SKU and branch must be enumerated and omitted entirely.
- The product-specific photographed English opening and community reports support eight ordinary Legend Rares and two parallel game cards among 48 high-rarity positions. The no-chase model normalizes the retained 38 Rare to 8 Legend Rare marginal; it does not reproduce repeated box maps or seeded correlations.
- The reviewed community posts do not publish a machine-readable box ledger with exact product IDs, subtype treatments, independent case count, observation interval, and every ordinary-card frequency.
- The 13-type Normal support pool contains R-010 through R-019, T-012 and reused basic EXB-001/EXR-001. The two EX marketplace identities are in group 24221 and must be imported explicitly; their omission from GD02's marketplace group is not absence from the booster. Equal per-card weights are an assumption.
- Modeling policy approved 2026-09-03: every supported ordinary card in the same slot, rarity, treatment, and finish pool receives one equal positive selection weight. This is a transparent modeling assumption where the publisher or empirical sample gives pool odds but not card-level sheet weights.
- The English thirteen-card wrapper and exact ordinary printings are source-backed. One photographed English 24-pack European-distribution opening informs the retained 38 Rare:8 Legend Rare marginal. Six Common, four Uncommon, two interchangeable high positions and uniform inner weights remain explicit allocation assumptions; no Japanese or complete English factory ledger is claimed.
- Card identities, physical finishes and product units are English-US. The single English opening provides partial empirical context; it does not establish factory or case guarantees.
- The approximation is first-order and GD02-specific. No display or case correlation is inferred, and no other set supplies GD02 rates.
- Within each retained English rarity/treatment pool, exact ordinary printings use equal positive weight where publisher sheet weights are unavailable. Missing quotes do not remove identities or reweight the draw.
- Per pack approximation: 6 Common, 4 Uncommon, two Rare-or-Legend-Rare draws weighted 19/23 Rare and 4/23 Legend Rare after chase removal, plus one Resource/EX Resource/EX Base/Unit Token. The 24-pack English display contains exactly 312 modeled physical cards; its expected ordinary Legend Rare count is 192/23 (about 8.35), not 16.
- Revisit these assumptions when a complete, attributable English collation ledger or publisher rate table becomes available for the exact release.
- GD02's photographed English 24-pack opening reports eight ordinary Legend Rares and two parallel game cards. The model retains six Common, four Uncommon, two Rare-or-better and one support position per pack as explicit allocation assumptions. The European-distributed sample does not establish an English-US factory or case ledger.
- The GD02 high-rarity model conditions 38 ordinary Rare and 8 ordinary Legend Rare outcomes on removing both unsupported parallel positions, normalizing to 19/23 Rare and 4/23 Legend Rare before drawing. Equal positive weights within each exact English pool and independent draws are explicit marginal assumptions; observed duplicate patterns, box guarantees and seeded case correlations are not preserved.
- The +1 uses 13 exact Normal English supports: R-010 through R-019, T-012, basic EXB-001 and basic EXR-001. The EX cards reuse marketplace products 643300 and 643301 from group 24221. Each support receives assumed 1/13 weight after foil Resource chase removal; no support enters the six-Common game-card positions. Bandai's rarity/type counts establish roster identity, not selection rates.
- All C+, U+, R+, LR+, C++ and LR++ parallel identities are excluded before drawing and retained slot outcomes normalized. Draw all 312 cards before Sift or user filtering, with no filtered-card backfill. There is no additional topper, DON!!, promo or starter bonus. Embedded pack expectation has the same marginal as display expectation divided by 24, including one support-card expectation; its Low/Mid/High range is independently simulated from a complete thirteen-card pack.
- No-chase redraw policy approved 2026-09-03: Curio, Enchanted, alternate-art, parallel, showcase, serialized, signature, premium-rarity, promotional, and any other card or treatment without a supported pull rate are excluded. A chase hit is redrawn from the applicable supported ordinary pool, so excluded cards occupy no modeled outcome.
- Simulation ordering is draw the complete disclosed no-chase product first, record that draw, and only then apply Sift or another user filter. Sift never changes or backfills the completed modeled draw.

Chase Exclusions
Excluded chase families are removed from the model entirely. They are never retained as zero-EV occupied outcomes. Each affected physical position is instead filled from its disclosed supported ordinary pool before the product draw is completed.

How is estimated ROI calculated? It equals modeled profit divided by the entered product cost. Modeled profit subtracts that product cost, selected seller fees, and any entered order or shipping costs from the modeled resale value. It is not a guaranteed return; pull variance, market price changes, taxes, and other unmodeled selling costs can change actual resale results.
