Everfest Booster Display EV

Estimate the expected value (EV) of Everfest booster displays using live TCGplayer market prices via TCGCSV. This calculator models product-specific slot composition, rarity weighting, and treatment pools to produce realistic EV and variance projections.

Model assumptions & evidence

Each sealed display is simulated pack-by-pack using the configured slot behavior shown below. Simulations always draw full pack contents first, then apply optional Sift filtering afterward so EV follows true opening order.

Model review: The publisher specifies 24 packs of ten cards, including seven commons, two rare-or-higher positions and one premium foil. Published approximate anchors include Cold Foil 1:16, Legendary 1:160 and Majestic 1:4 with Carnival Majestic 1:26. The retained model combines these headlines into an unresolved Rare+ residual, which cannot be valued at zero as a complete product. Full EV is held until that allocation and selected prices are resolved. Eight named nonfoil Majestic short prints use the publisher's half-frequency weights; within-finish rarity allocation and headline overlap remain model assumptions. Draw complete contents before Sift or filters, with no reroll or backfill.

Set theme: Everfest is themed around signature heroes, class identities, and chase treatments that define this Flesh and Blood release.

Selling Fees

Per-row shows combined pct + txn (txn = 2.5% processing). $0.30/order added only in the summary.

Value Threshold

Changing this can materially lower EV if Market/Mid are stale. “Min” is most conservative.
Sift is applied to the 10 drawn cards per pack (post‑draw). Only cards meeting the threshold contribute EV.

EV Range (Monte Carlo)

Runs per summary update; higher counts smooth the bands but take longer.

Each bar groups simulated box totals after cards are drawn, then Sift is applied to pack hits. X-axis = box value, Y-axis = number of simulations in that range.

Cold Foil ≈1/16; Legendary ≈1/160; LSS Rare headline ≈1.65 per pack across nonfoil Rare/Rare+ slots; Majestic ≈1/4 with Carnival-themed Majestic ≈1/26. Publisher odds anchor the headline rates; because exact Fabled and premium-treatment allocations are not published, eligible rows are count-weighted within the modeled branches.
