Limitations

  • Modeling policy approved 2026-09-07: every supported ordinary card in the same slot, rarity, treatment, and finish pool receives one equal positive selection weight. This is a transparent modeling assumption where the publisher or empirical sample gives pool odds but not card-level sheet weights.
  • Best Evidence — English community estimate: Bandai confirms 24 twelve-card English boosters and two box-bonus cards from six types. The BT26-specific September 7 English community report describes seven regular SR, two regular UR and two SEC-or-alternate-art hits per display. This is a provisional community estimate, not publisher-confirmed odds or an independently counted case sample; opening dates, sample size, printing wave and per-card sheet weights are undisclosed.
  • No-chase construction removes alternate-art booster hits, SP, Rare Pull and serialized identities before drawing. Both SEC-or-alternate-art positions are conditioned on the two eligible regular Secret Rares. Thus two regular SEC draws are a no-chase modeling choice, not a claim that real boxes guarantee two Secret Rares. The six publisher-shown box-bonus alternate arts remain exclusively in the separate two-card bonus pool.
  • The 288 booster-card model assumes 168 Common, 72 Uncommon, 37 Rare, seven Super Rare, two regular Ultimate Rare and two no-chase Secret Rare positions per display. The 7C/3U backbone and residual Rare count are explicit slot-allocation assumptions. Display rarity totals are fixed to the reported estimate; identities are independent equal-weight draws within each pool. Factory sheet ordering, no-duplicate rules, box-bonus pair correlations and case seeding are not modeled.
  • The two bonus cards use equal weights across BT26-009, 029, 052, 061, 064 and 073 in their exact bonus alternate-art printings. All 290 display cards are drawn before Sift or user filters; filtering never rerolls or backfills a completed draw. Embedded pack EV uses only the twelve-card booster contents and excludes the display-only bonus. Pack-slot allocation preserves twelve cards using the disclosed marginal weights; factory pack covariance is not inferred.
  • No-chase redraw policy approved 2026-09-07: Curio, Enchanted, alternate-art, parallel, showcase, serialized, signature, premium-rarity, promotional, and any other card or treatment without a supported pull rate are excluded. A chase hit is redrawn from the applicable supported ordinary pool, so excluded cards occupy no modeled outcome.
  • Simulation ordering is draw the complete disclosed no-chase product first, record that draw, and only then apply Sift or another user filter. Sift never changes or backfills the completed modeled draw.
