Model assumptions & evidence

Each sealed box is modeled using the listed collector pack/slot configuration below (including crossover-specific showcase/treatment pools and premium slot behavior). Simulations always draw full pack contents first, then apply optional Sift filtering afterward so EV follows true opening order.

Set theme: FINAL FANTASY is themed as a crossover anthology, bringing characters, summons, and iconic moments from across the franchise into Magic collector treatments.

Note: Colorful Traveling Chocobo (FIN 551, 551a–d) are excluded by default. The optional colorful comparison is unavailable while the exact Japanese black printing and price are missing from the generated bundle.
The base Chocobo premium slot remains modeled either way, and the serialized Golden Traveling Chocobo (FIN 551f) is not included at all.

Model provenance: Slot and treatment inputs follow Wizards' Collecting Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY. The generated Collector model supplies printing membership. The 99.7% published eligible premium outcomes are normalized after chase exclusion. The optional colorful comparison uses an assumed 0.3% residual, not published exact odds. Full EV remains unverified because of the two disclosed publisher membership gaps.

Full EV is not yet verified. Wizards lists 16 nonfoil Commander Booster Fun mythics and 26 premium borderless rares, but 8 and 25 eligible printings are identified. Displayed values are diagnostic estimates using uniform allocation over those known printings. Cid variants each receive one fifteenth of an ordinary uncommon's weight. Ordinary draws are independent; undocumented pack covariance is an assumption. Serialized cards are always excluded. Unknown-rate colorful Chocobos are excluded by default, with eligible premium outcomes normalized before drawing all 180 game cards. Sift and included-pool filters apply after drawing.
