Foundations Starter Collection EV Calculator

Estimate the expected value (EV) of a Foundations Starter Collection using live TCGplayer market prices. This product combines a large fixed card pool of Foundations staples, color-pair support, and teaching-friendly deckbuilding pieces with three Play Boosters, and every card is mapped to its official print for transparent totals.

The calculator separates the guaranteed Starter contents from the three randomized Play Boosters: fixed cards are counted directly, while booster slots are simulated with published odds. When Sift is enabled, filtering is applied only after each booster’s cards are fully drawn so EV follows the real opening sequence.

Selling Fees

Per-row fees show combined pct + txn (txn = 2.5% processing). $0.30/order is added only in the totals.

Value Threshold

Market/Mid/Low pull from TCGCSV. “Min” picks the lowest non-null price, and every mode falls back to whichever data is available.
Sift hides cards under the threshold only when the toggle is on. It is applied after guaranteed contents and pack draws.
